“ What a wonderful restaurant in the heart of London, plant based but not all vegan. We sat at the bar as we hadn't booked, but this was wonderful, and put us very close to where the food is prepared for serving. We will try to in future, not for different seats but to ensure we get in, they are busy. The food is superb, we had the discovery menu. ”
“ I was very impressed with tendril the first time. They are experimental with their food - the method of cooking and layering is worth the price of the dishes. The second visit I had the set menu and was very full at the end. It’s difficult to find a good vegan restaurant so this is definitely a place to visit. ”
“ It’s been a delightful experience dining at Tendril. We opted for their brunch set menu, and the food elevates plant-based vegetarian dishes to new heights with great value for money. Each dish was impeccably prepared, well-balanced, and filled with flavours of fresh ingredients. Not only were they scrumptious, but they also were very healthy—a remarkable feat. The service was impeccable, with seamless transitions between courses, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The vibe of the restaurant is chic and elegant, creating a very comforting relaxed atmosphere! Tendril is a must-visit for anyone seeking vegan-vegetarian food in a cosy setting. ”
“ Tendril is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys delicious and creative vegan cuisine! The balance of flavours in every dish is remarkable, showcasing the high quality of ingredients and culinary expertise. We were particularly blown away by the white bean dip with pitta and the mushroom skewers – bursting with flavour! The small plates selection was so tempting, we wished we could have tried more. We'll definitely be back to explore the menu further. Highly recommend Tendril for a memorable dining experience. ”
“ Thoroughly recommend for all. Spontaneous walk-in as we came across this cute restaurant after wondering around London. Accommodate us and our small dog. (Dog friendly to well-behaved dogs) The food is amazing! My partner is vegetarian but I'm not and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Incredibly tasty and high quality. Also, great value for money, considering the quality and location. The brunch menu (served until 4pm on weekends) was 4 courses for 35 pp Interesting cocktails and friendly staff. My only "negative" feedback was the timing between courses was very fast. So great if you're in a rush!! But not as great if you like a bit of digestive period between courses. Would 100% come back and recommend to all. ”
“ I am generally a picky and critical eater - and there was not one thing I had at Tendril that wasn't great. The white bean dip was especially excellent. I ordered the "early bird" set menu before heading to the theater, plus a cocktail. The dessert included in the set menu was banana-based, and I detest bananas. The kitchen was kind enough to swap it for something else, although I didn't expect that. Prices were on the high side, but I really felt I got my money's worth - in terms of quality and quantity. On top of what I ordered, the kitchen sent out 2 little complimentary bites as well. Staff was friendly and service was good. Would most definitely return. ”
“ Tendril is a true gem for vegan food lovers in London. The serene, minimalist interior accented with green furnishings—creates a calming oasis just steps from the city’s busiest streets. Whether you sit in the informal front or the cosy back area, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for both relaxed dinners and special occasions. The menu is innovative and beautifully presented, with standout dishes like their legendary sticky toffee pudding and a variety of creative plant-based options. With attentive staff and a thoughtful drinks list, Tendril offers an exceptional dining experience that goes far beyond expectations. Highly recommended for the food, the ambiance, and the overall vibe ”
“ Finally managed a table for my birthday!!! Have been a big fan of Chef Rushim from his Olive days in Mumbai and was so looking forward to this and it did not disappoint. Chef brought some exquisite dishes like Brie and delicious Italian to Olive so opening a solo vegan place in Mayfair is a biggg up! The place is tiny. I think max 18/20 tables thus the long waitlist. We were served by Kate & Albie, who were lovely but the constant reminder that we only had the table for two hours was a bit much and kept us anxious and on our toes throughout. I do understand the cut to cut bookings but this is a practice I think they can skip and a single reminder is enough. Cut to the good part: The FOOOD isssss delicious!!! And for the first time ever I ordered everything on the menu and felt cool! Haha! My standout dishes were the seaweed / leek fritters , asparagus something, Brie toastie, cottage cheese and the mushroom skewers!!! The aubergine was nice too. The white bean spread is cray!!! The only skippable dish was the cauliflower and the cocktails. We paid 45 per head and we were 5 people in total. Portion size is small but tapas style so if you order variety you are bound to leave full . The dessert- yes Tiramisu is good but the star for me was the Banoffee uff! Was excited about the Basque cheesecake but unfortunately the raspberry compote over shadowed the dish entirely! Over all fab experience! Great conversations and scrumptious food! ”
